The African operations of Global Grain Solution are coordinated from Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, by 2AI.CI, the group’s historic operational platform in Africa for more than 30 years. GGS Africa supports agricultural and agro-industrial stakeholders in projects involving grain storage, handling, drying, cocoa bean conditioning, rice mills, flour mills and animal feed production units. The affiliate works with agricultural cooperatives, agro-industrial companies, private investors and institutional stakeholders, with solutions adapted to African realities: tropical climate, humidity, dust, energy availability, local logistics, simplified maintenance and operator training. From its base in Côte d’Ivoire, GGS Africa operates across West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa, combining agro-industrial engineering, local teams, installation, commissioning and long-term after-sales support.

Engineering designed for African conditions
In Africa, post-harvest projects must respond to very practical constraints: heat, humidity, dust, energy availability, access to spare parts, local maintenance and continuity of operation.
GGS Africa combines the group’s engineering expertise with the field experience of its local teams to design installations adapted to the products, the volumes to be processed and the operating realities of each site.
The complete engineering of each project includes:

Grain storage solutions
GGS Africa designs storage installations for cereals and agricultural products adapted to farms, cooperatives and industrial sites. Systems are sized according to harvested volumes, intake capacities, cleaning, drying and handling requirements, in order to secure stocks and preserve grain quality under African climatic conditions.
Cocoa bean conditioning
Cocoa conditioning is one of the historic areas of expertise of GGS Africa and 2AI.CI. The affiliate develops installations for the reception, cleaning, handling, storage and conditioning of cocoa beans, with equipment designed to preserve product quality, improve flows and meet the requirements of cocoa supply chains in Africa.
Turnkey agro-industrial projects
GGS Africa supports the delivery of complete agro-industrial projects: rice mills, flour mills, animal feed units, agricultural processing lines and industrial storage infrastructure. Each project integrates engineering, equipment supply, installation, automation, commissioning and operator training.
